Congratulations to Gene and Tamara on the awards received at the recent AIA Michigan 2019 Honor Awards. Tamara Burns, FAIA, received the prestigious Hastings Award which was established to recognize a specific outstanding contribution to the architectural profession. Gene Hopkins, FAIA, was recipient of the Michigan Architectural Foundation Leadership Award. His decades of leadership in numerous professional and community organizations continues to build a legacy of excellence and advocacy in support of advancing public awareness and understanding of how architecture enriches life.
